The Ever-One Is
When it's cold outside, I am there,
In the rain of the cold, and the wonder of the fruit of men,
Bitter in it's oldest memory, and musty and dusty from within.
The old is new, and the new is in itself the very old that we have come to know anew each day
In the cold of the street-water running, there I find you.
In the race of the rain across my wool-wrapped face.
A cold delight in the season of cold as it regains the grasp of the once-warn rush of life, now cold in my heart.
A quest for meaning as the long night is at hand and I long for the awakening of the dawn in my soul as I wait through the long night.
A twyst of the Ever-One yet unknown and on into the lonely
To know Him is to know what?
the Ever-One is, the Ever-One is
where to go in this misty ride of the long into the long and beyond?
Where-fore is the night to disturb, if not to know the weakness?
Where weakness is nigh, so is the strength of the Ever-One Three
The boom of the drops is uppon us. The cold cold rain is the running of the street-side-stream which wakens that which was lost. A hand dipped drip of the street-side-stream is the wake-majic of the Ever-One Three here with me.
The hidden yet seen is the stuff of the dreams, so why not mine? And the dreams are the inner of the dreamer and I, like others of the Ever-One, but:
the Ever-One is, the Ever-One is
and the wake-water wild
of the street-side stream
and the here has hope
when the Dreary-Dead dream
that
the Ever-One is, the Ever-One is
and faith comes tumbling like a reluctant-pulled me
nether-deep hopes, and chain-clinging free
the one who is here round us is calling us home, and so to rush into the drudge of the every-day mire. To search the impossible for the well-known, and to know the now in the then is my goal.
For
the Ever-One is, the Ever-One is
search ye now to the place where then is now, and the now of then is the heart of that deepest desired. To do what I long and to long-ago that which has been the then, and shall be gone. Let the gone be gone. Let the Coming-One be here. The Ever-One Three is uppon us to guide the now to the now of then as we search to find
that
the Ever-One is, the Ever-One is.

Dear friends,
These are some of my poems they represent the best thing ever to happen in my life. I cannot express how much
Christ did for me or how much my life has changed for the better since I met him, but these perhaps come close.
They are of sponaneous origin, so be gentle. Thank you.
My Chosen Savior
Jesus is still the King of Kings
helping me in all my errors
the giver of all the great good things
the only one who always cares
never failing and always just
he's the one I've come to trust
more and more he'll lead the way
turn all to him on everyday
On my account, he cleared the debt
but I ain't seen nothin' yet
for he'll be there at times I fall
and not require anything at all
to fill me up with his holy fire
and cleanse my soul of all that's dire
cleaning out what causes shame
when I ask in his ritious name
He's mine own true and your own too
whoever you are he's there for you
he'll always be your very best friend
and he won't leave you in the end
he'll not desert your hopeless case
he'll simply delete and then erase
till nothing's left of your disgrace
recieve him now in this very place
Eternity is his domain,
he's waiting to take you there.
Can't you see the effort he's made
none ever was else, none other to compare.
He gives all good and perfect gifts
what more could you possibly ask?
Out of love, take up your cross
ask and recieve a ritious task.
For to love is to serve
as he's already shown
and he gave life deserved
for sin not his own
now to conclude this
may I finally say
he is the life, the truth, and the way.
El Viaje de Vida
(The Sojourn of Life)
Fire and rain and all things came
pressing in on my soul
and trying to find some order
in the chaos from th pit,
I FAILED.
The deep long longing and lonely strings
were tied by an unholy curse,
and all that I knew was a
searching for somthing I desired, but
I COULDN'T BRING IT TO MYSELF.
Then, as the Still Small Voice
creeped into my secrets,
and began to reveal
my hidden hidings,
I WAS CONVICTED, I WAS WRONG.
Just as He had revealed my guilt,
he revealed his grace,
and as my spiritual eyes were at last
drawn to the face of the Messiah,
I SAT IN AWE.
I was affected and made the only move
I knew could possibly honor the gift he had given,
AND I ASKED HIM INTO MY HEART TO STAY
AND RULE MY LIFE FOREVER.

Heavy Falling
By J. Elliott Davenport
When night falls on you hard
When night falls on your heart
When all around is darkness
There is a light
When yesterday is heavy
When tomorrow is too much to bear
When your burden trips you deeply
There is one who cares
When all around is nowhere
When anywhere is better than here
When home is long unheard of
There is home somewhere
He is Love
He is Light
He is Home
Home is where the heart is
Home is where you rest
Home awaits in Jesus
In He who loves you best
In light there may be freedom
But there is much to risk
The light it is revealing
To Him who knows you best
With love you will be treated
Like ice cream to a child
You know that you are weary
So come to rest awhile
Lookin for Love
At first I was quite shy in love
then I began to see
tis hard indeed to meet the one
who's so just right for me
So I began to look around
and now I've learned to joke
for Love will find me in due time
not through my chasing folk
If you should happen all at once
to notice me in kind
befriend me and we two shall watch
to see if love unwinds
